Staying at Botel Vodnik was certainly a memorable experience for me as an archaeologist who often finds comfort in unique settings. Waking up on water with swans and seagulls outside my window was a refreshing change from the usual hotel scene. The boat's age is noticeable, yet it's well-maintained; maintaining charm despite being around for 30 years. While not in the heart of Prague, it’s conveniently located near tram and metro stops, making city exploration easy. Breakfast offered generous options, catering to varied tastes, while the serene terrace provided a pleasant view of Vyšehrad Castle. For travelers pondering costs, the hotel strikes a balance between affordable rates and a distinctive experience, allowing visitors to appreciate both comfort and historical intrigue without breaking the bank. A solid choice for value-seekers.
